Our school was holding a series of sports event to celebrate health week. There were races, basketball games, table and lawn tennis, food booths and such. The coordinator of the health week, who was our math teacher, said that if we participate to at least one event during the health week, we will get additional points to our math exam next week.
My friends and I suggested that we will enter into the race, it was just running how hard could it be. During the health week, we were enjoying so much that we entirely forgot about the race, and when our names were called for it, we barely had time to do some stretching, and the worst part aside from losing is, we got a Muscle Strain. It was so painful that we went home, we were experiencing both a Hamstring Injury and Groin Pain. Entering a race was a bad idea without proper training, stretching and warming up. Because of Muscle Pain, we spent the weekend at home resting, with ice bags, compressed and elevated legs. Nevertheless, we got the additional points at math.
